Mission Statement
We provide support to our members by presenting speakers, technical programs, and by hosting exhibit space at the historical building at the Erie County Fair grounds. Through our programming we seek to encourage the preservation of documents and artifacts by local historic societies and provide them with tools and techniques to ensure items are well documented and stored according to appropriate museum standards. We also seek to develop programs that support historical societies in creating meaningful information for the public through tours, publications, exhibitions and involvement in community activities.
